Female Paddling Discipline
Just a few months as coordinator of the San Bartolomé UK, and two years as a member of the Governing Council, have helped me to realize that the residences of the University of Salamanca need another type of internal operating regulations.
In the last year's Governing Council, held on Friday December 17, the Rector proposed amendments to the regulations and all internal regulations governing the residential colleges and the University of Salamanca. I think you need to walk back to the organization that already existed in the old halls of residence. First we clientelizado
students of our university, it is no college, and have no recognized rights of representation in the dorms, since they do not exist in any of these collective bodies of representation.
Second, if you really want to promote domestic and cultural life, it must depend on all these tasks, not just of the school management.
Finally, the possibility of representation allows residents to control the management, participation, quality and service as a mechanism for progress and improvement. In addition to preventing the bad actions of some directors delegates, fees may be appointed and confidence, which sometimes results in the wrong direction of the residences and daily lives of their tenants.
The most surprising is that the University of Salamanca was a pioneer in Europe for the creation of residence halls, including the UK is St. Bartholomew, founded in 1401 by Diego de Anaya, and the first of these features in the old continent. Over the centuries, with successive steps rectories, pursued the elimination of these and the residential conversion. But these changes covered in the new forms of exploitation, have also brought the loss of traditions and customs of those historic halls of Salamanca.
The great mistake of the University of Salamanca has been not to value its history back hundreds VIII. Their homes could lead to such gala historical traditions, and thus identified as different in the market for the supply of university accommodation. Because we can offer something different to the rest of our competitors in the city, a private business attractive student housing will never have the centuries-old history which guarantees to our facilities.
The Rector told me that his intention is to return to the management of residential and Halls, and that the course work force in the regulatory and legislative change to finally be so.
